For the video assigned to your group, identify the following:
Your group will give a presentation on your findings for your video. Each group member will be responsible for sharing your group findings to the class for one of the numbered items above. A rubric will be used to evaluate your group's presentation as a whole which can be found at the bottom of the webpage.
- What "struggle for homeostasis" is occurring for each patient featured in the video? What symptoms and signs indicate that struggle?
- What aspects of anatomy or body parts appear to be failing/improperly functioning? What evidence indicates the failure of that particular aspect of anatomy?
- What do the first responders in the video do to treat and support the patient(s)? Indicate what specific actions they took (or perhaps didn't take) that address each symptom or anatomical failure you observed.
- What is the possible prognosis (likely outcome) for the patient(s)? What are some possible ways to further treat their condition?
